PEP is a 501c3 non-profit corporation formed to provide affordable spaying and neutering services for companion cats and dogs. We also are working on funding to provide TNR (trap neuter/release) services for feral cat populations in our area of rural Missouri
Thank you for visiting our internet site. Our clinic is located in Bland, MO at 408 W. St. Louis Street. We offer surgeries and rabies vaccinations on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday by appointment. We have an all volunteer staff except for our veterinarians: Dr. Sheri Moellinger DVM, Dr. Kathy Baumstark DVM, and Dr. Nancy Roth DVM. They are all experienced and very capable and we are fortunate to have their services.
In order to make an appointment for your dog or cat, please go to the appointment page and send the information via email at protecteverypet@centurytel.net. Or you may call us at 573-646-3155.
You may also contact us and make donations by mail at PEP, Inc., P.O. Box 273, Bland, MO 65014.
The Gasconade County Republican gave front page
coverage to an article about PEP’s first anniversary of operation. They added
an article about how we got started and named our largest contributors. Finally
the Owner/editor penned an opinion piece, which concluded with a wish for our
continued good fortune.
Since our opening day on 11/16/10 to the end of
this year we have neutered 855 pet cats
and dogs. With a 3rd day, we are doing close to 100 animals a
month.
Our heartfelt thanks to our loyal, loving
volunteers who make all this possible. Hip, Hip, Hooray to each of you! And special thanks to Leona Reid for
stepping in during my illness.
April is just around the corner. Start checking your basement, attic,
garage and barn for rummage sale items. If you need to move things right away,
Donna Stough 573-298-1322 & Carol Hanson 573-646-3833 have room to take
stuff.
If you have neighbors who are
letting their pets reproduce, please stop by and get some of our calling cards
and tell them about our services. Cards will be available at the clinic, Bland City Hall, Belle
City Offices, Judy's Place, Bland and Farmers Merchant Restaurant in Owensville.
With Dr. Nancy Roth DVM joining us to perform surgeries on feral cats, we
are preparing a mailing to the Belle and Bland areas to advise them of
our TNR (trap/neuter/release) project. We hope to have out first
scheduled surgery day in early March. At present we plan to operate
every other Thursday, returning cats late Friday afternoon.
